Baseball needs both a salary cap and a salary floor IMO, as someone who knows basic economics and not a lot of MLB business nuance and has had enough of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Before the Dodgers signed Ohtani, deferred an insane amount of his contract, then signed half the MLB free agents the next 2 years, I had no problem with how things were. Players should get paid.
The Dodgers proved every one of us wrong. This is not fair to at least 1/3 of teams
