I felt like I had to get off of FB, but I'm definitely missing out on some connections. Instagram is just ok enough that I've stayed for the connections I've got there.

Thanks! Happy to contribute. Would love to have a series of protected facilities between the prairie path and the LFT in the long run. Gives city folks easier bike access to Fox River etc, and the burbs an active transportation corridor inward.

I'm specifically thinking about the Madison separated bike lanes in Oak Park that dead end at the municipal boundary. Making sure there's a connection with a similar level of protection going into the City would be ideal from a regional perspective! 2/2

Sure! Generally, if an adjacent municipality has a road that connects into the Chicago street grid and has a protected lane or other facility, it seems worth giving some level of priority to ensuring funding goes towards similar facilities in the city that connect them into the larger grid. 1/2

How do state-level reforms to make housing easier to build, as seen in other states across the country, figure into the future of decarbonization in Illinois - especially in areas already served by public transit?
