Smart take. Trump’s outsized, omnipresent media presence and glee at showboating in front of the cameras feeds the notion that he’s the force of nature he plays on TV. But there was a puppeteer behind his mogul cosplay on The Apprentice, so why wouldn’t there be one now as he melts down for real?
It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.
