First Book of 2026 finished. Target this year is only 26, to free up more time for other things.
Anyway, The Artist by Lucy Steeds. I gave it 4 stars.
I honestly don't know how I feel about it yet. If I'm being brutally honest, I found it slow going, but I did enjoy it.

Starting the year with a fresh book. A friend wants to start a boom club and this is his first chosen book. Fingers crossed it's a good one!

In book news... An Evening with Lee Child, in conversation with Louise Minchin has netted a small stack of signed books.
Well worth the evening out.
Back to gigs tomorrow though, and alas, still on homework book for college so these will have to wait a little while to be read!

I have an online, family calendar. I am supposed to check this before booking stuff. I do, in fact, usually, check this before I book stuff in. However, I have discovered that my method needs work, because, you see, I check *that* day. I do not check what else is going on in the surrounding days...

I suffer from migraines. Not as frequently as I used to, not as severely (usually) as I used to, and not for as long (hopefully) as I used to, and not as bad (in each case) as other people that I know.
