It's small, it's lightweight, and I can carry it around with me, do a bit at lunchtime etc... this is what the finished design should look like.
And now I've posted here, I'll have to finish it so I can update. External motivation?

... Luckily, Beloved asked where my key was and then found it, in the outside of the locked front door. It is now inside. Key check confirms we have the correct number of keys inside now. Wish me luck for the rest of the next week!

Today was a spa day. It was lovely. Alas, daughter has returned to college after the holidays, and I managed the most spectacular fail - luckily Beloved caught it. Came home and unlocked the door... Didn't take the key out of the door, closed it, and locked out with a different front door key...

... Normally, I get lucky. Alas, last week, and this week, I have something on almost every day/evening;
I am having an absolute blast, but I'm exhausted already, & I've still a full week of activities to go, culminating in a 3 event Sunday & late finish, followed by 4am start for a Monday meeting.

The Spotify playlist did not, in fact, help. Did tip over into migraine, but seems to be coming down again now.

So frustrating.

Day 3. Headache worse today, still not migraine, but close.
Have done more medication... Trying a Spotify playlist that claims to help, sunglasses and hat on, to sit outside, definitely need the air today but the sounds are hurting (even the birdsong and table tennis being played nearby).

Anyway, apart from a 'woe is me', if anyone has any suggestions for things I can try to make this go away, quickly, please let me know.

I've tried the usual things, I don't want to keep taking meds while it's not a proper migraine (yet) and I don't want to just sleep in a darkened room. Thanks

I had planned to read a book a day. Think I've managed about four pages in about six attempts all day. I'd planned daily walks, I've managed 2x30 minutes of less than 2km, I wanted to swim and cycle, try the local cuisine, I learned the language... I can barely manage English.

It keeps threatening relapse. I'm sensitive to light/noise/temperature, any kind of exertion (coughing, slowly walking up steps, breathing too hard) is making it worse. My earplugs are making it worse. The noise of the fan, the lack of air when I turn the fan off, the wind, the lack of wind...

Apologies to my fellow passengers and the flight crew ... I didn't die, that's about all that can be said.
Survived the airport at the other side, and 90 mins on a bus. Then spent the first day of our family holiday, asleep, in a darkened room by myself.
Today, it's down to a bad headache, but...

Yesterday, I got a bad one. No, worse than that. As I boarded a plane. Not as we took off, not in the air, literally, as we were at the gate boarding.
I took the medication, and ploughed on. I used noise cancelling headphones, I did breathing exercises, followed a guided meditation, threw up...

I tried the recipe. Had to change an ingredient, tried to buy the rum recommended but it didn't arrive (have had a refund though, no issues) so I used a non-alcoholic sugar syrup alternative.

It was far nicer than I expected, I took it to archery and it went down very well. Will make it again.

I gave this one five stars.

Another Bookclub pick (different Bookclub from the first book, this one isn't until next week) & another book I may never have discovered by myself.

This one quickly became quite gripping and I couldn't put it down in parts, so read it much faster than I intended to.
