i’m watching house and i did not expect to like it so much as a person going into stem. i think it’s because all the “inaccurate” things (basically the ethics) are so obvious and severe that i tend not to nitpick everything else and i can just enjoy it

i wish tiktok stayed banned. not because i believe the ban is needed in ANY way, but because if this app is sold its going to be to a trump-loving billionaire who will run it into the ground like the rest of the popular media apps.

if the tiktok ban was really about national security, why weren’t temu and shein banned first? i know SO many people (including myself) who have had their information stolen and sold because of those apps.

some of you need to hear this: the national security threat that tiktok allegedly poses is based on HYPOTHETICAL: there is no evidence that tiktok inappropriately handles data. the issue was that the company is subject to chinese law and the US hates anything it can’t control
