I have it on good authority that Marie Severin HATED everyone & everything! She said she'd work on NOT BRAND ECHH for *FREE* - so she could debase all the characters at Marvel & DC, but preferred to have them PAY for the abuse!
It's well known that editors lived in fear of her. She HATED comics.
