It's a pity that Bidmead was never approached to novelise "In the Hollows of Time," either as part of the Missing Stories sub-range of the Taget Books or as a later commission in the 2010s.

Not disrespect to the Big Finish adaption, but I think prose would suit the story best.

I prefer security equipment to 80s comedy with Ronnie Corbett. Better safe than Sorry!

Teenagers near us letting off fireworks: in a children's playground, near houses, lighting them up and then running away, not caring how they are aimed.

It's your annual reminder that: FIREWORKS SHOULD NOT BE SOLD TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Well, I am not saying that my team wasn't the strongest today, but I did go into the cellar and loudly quote Harrison Chase from #DoctorWho Seeds of Doom.

Calling fans of the Avengers (as in the British 60s series, not Marvel Comics), what are your top episodes for Halloween?

For me:
Don't Look Behind You
Build A Better Mouse Trap
Castle De'Ath
The Living Dead
The Joker
The Superlative Seven
Thingamajig
Pandora

One of the best things about going into Cex is that every now and again, you will come across a bit of a bargain on a blu-ray that appears to be out of stock across UK retailers

Excellent episode on a much unfairly maligned story

Nothing quite screams "reading material for holiday in Mexico" like a Doctor Who novel with a front cover depicting the 7th Doctor using a French Toilet.

Isn't the "twist" a bit of pretentious take on the Twilight Zone episode "Five Characters in Search of an Exit"?
#SFDFWho Natural History of Fear disk 2
Okay, so yes, they did a story were the "twist" only worked on audio but the nature of the twist was exactly as predicted at the start of part one. And seriously, did part 4 HAVE to be 50 minutes to get us to that point? And, on the arc front... a MAJOR
