I don't think you really need Lemurs imo the decimal labyrinth is great for teaching say the Deleuze-Spinoza concept of numbering vs numbered number but the Lemurs themselves are just a vehicle for what they termed "Unbelief" (which I take to be different to the plasticity of belief in chaos magic).

Time-War is the understands an allegiance between the transcendental philosophy of time and the technical production thereof, allowing for desubjectivation by pushing the latter (and hence the former) past their limitations in an explosion of the capitalist regulation of time and consciousness.

Imo the Y2K stuff was the most well-grounded part because of the understanding of temporality built into it which leaves open the possibility of similar accelerations past the limit of techno-capital, Anna Greenspan's thesis is excellent on this point. That was the Time-War praxis.

The CCRU was like the 2nd wave Black Metal Scene in Norway, specifically the Black Circle. Land was not "our Nietzsche" as Fisher said, but the Varg Vikernes of Deleuzianism.

Tbf all my published stuff on cybertheory does say explicitly "none of this worked and the pursuit of a digital desubjectivation instead forced us deeper into bourgeois subjectivity through digital labour and the platformization of the internet". Owl of Minerva and all that.

The CCRU was a deeply embarassing mistake. I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing without the material and philosophical legacies of that set, but it nonetheless remains true.
