Avowed progressive, three tour U.S. Army combat veteran of the 101st Airborne and Big Red One, Sapper Leader, Combat Engineer, Father and Pop Pop.
He also had his whole trigger finger mashed into the trigger well of his rifle during his stupid photo op on the rifle range showing that he has no idea how to shoot.

I'm a 3 tour combat veteran from the Army. Rules of Engagement are the things that separate us from our enemies. I won't lie and say you don't wish they weren't as strict as they are sometimes, but that's exactly when you need them most to keep you from sliding.

Trump and Musk don't rule-
To Putin they do report.
We will eat the rich.

We should howl about this. These are unimpeachable American heroes. And it's a time when we need American heroes more than ever. If we do not fight, if we do not save the Republic that they did this for, they were asked to do it for nothing. And that can't be allowed. Ever. 8/8

And you sure as fuck don't slander that mother's name in your cruelty for the sake of itself agenda that's as anti-American as over-taxed tea because it just so happens to describe a people and a lifestyle that your corrupted view of God happens to want to victimize. 7/8

And that is what you do by hiding her away for the sake of decorum. You let the crew of Enola Gay stand alone in that moral despair. 12 men who followed your orders in a plane you named after the purest freaking thing you could imagine. Your little old mother. 6/?

You don't have to be proud of what you did. You can tell the story as a cautionary tale about the levers of power or about the price of freedom. But once you've asked your kids to do the unspeakable in your name, you should never let those kids hold the moral bag for those actions alone. 5/?

Imagine the moral despair of it. Enola Gay and her crew is entirely beyond even the smallest slander. It's bad enough that we hide her away and only let her be seen on special Smithsonian tours. And I get it, she's controversial given her history. 4/?

They had to wake up every day for the rest of their lives knowing that their actions directly accounted for half a million dead human beings and forever having to weigh that against all the lives it saved that could never be counted. Imagine the moral weight of such a thing. 3/?

Second, as a multiple tour combat veteran of the United States, I will tell you that while all service is important, it sure the hell ain't equal. And never in the history of warfare were 12 people, American or otherwise, asked to do more for their country, or their people than these men. 2/?

First, Enola Gay was named for the pilot, Col. Paul Tibbets' mother. Who was super strict and super religious. This should be a poster child story for the act that Republicans put on but never live up to about God, Country, and Family. 1/?

I mean, the old adage "what goes up, must come down" certainly wasn't coined by a Capitalist. Remember when gas prices soared under W, and they swore it was just because of the war stock requirements and they would come back down after the conflict ended?

I got past the Archdemon boss fight last night, and I had fits with it because there were so many 'run away from the red templates of doom' mechanics that you really noticed how easy it is to get animation locked to death. Plus that three stage fight was crazy long.

Combat leadership and the crushing weight of trying to make flawless decisions over a long period with lives on the line for each one.
