Got the official diagnosis of #CRPS and am being sent to palliative care. Most painful thing known to man. It’s called the “suicide disease” for a reason. Gotta stay on The Path though, this Witcher is strong. Thanks to @dougcockle.bsky.social and my friends and family who keep me alive and strong.

Minute I’m okay. The next I’m in a flare, in shambles, barely know my name, and am being carted off by ambulance to the Er…. For a norco and a shot of toradol. I hate how pain has no true measure and is subjective. Then again I think I’d knock a lot of socks off w/ my pain

Fusing both sides of my foot joint on January second BUT I am also being evaluated for complex regional pain syndrome because of all the abnormalities in my spine.

MOST IMPORTANT FACT: #pain is subjective and has no true standard of measurement. As someone with #heds, my baseline pain of “5” would be so high on another person’s pain scale that it would blow the chart out of orbit. My 10 for others is unimaginable.
