This is an important and overlooked dynamic. A lot of what the Administration says and promises to do is based on lies. And to quote Craig Mazin’s “Chernobyl,” “every lie creates a debt to the truth.” Eventually that debt has to be paid.

The shock and awe Musk, Vought, Bannon and Trump — are bringing will backfire if we’re smart about it. Make clear that DOGE is the Dept of Govt Extermination, not Efficiency. Let people see that their taxes are no longer paying for vital public services but to fatten the richest people on earth.
