This week, the @mountvernontrail.org made lemonade out of lemons and used the shutdown closed park at Gravelly Point to repaint an essentially missing crosswalk.
This is all volunteer funded and performed activity. In tough times, be these high-viz vest wearing volunteers!

The Beautification Awards tonight were a display of what is beautiful about the people of Alexandria. Businesses, schools, and neighbors all doing big and small things to better our community and environment.
