I posted my take on #Adolescence on tik tok and I was somewhat surprised by the reaction from men. I genuinely thought men would appreciate the show and its approach to male mental health and social media. Yet so many were still so angry. Men of Bluesky do you have any thoughts?

There isn’t much we can do right now other than keep hope alive. We need to keep networks and conversations open and focused on what we CAN do. Stop feeding the ego monster by talking about him and start showing up in your community.

I want you to remember how many times they said this term would be “Shock and Awe” They have given you their entire playbook ahead of time. Shock and Awe is a calculated tactic to keep you disoriented, disassociated and in a state of burn out. STOP being shocked. Focus on key issues.

I’m not QUITE at doomsday prepping but last night suddenly got an urge to stockpile physical copies of books?
What other categories would you add? Currently thinking - history and government, emergency/first aid, traditional chinese medicine/homeopathic medicine, foraging and basic agriculture

There are so many important topics for parents to consider during the next four years. One that is really sticking with me today are the implications of removing AI safeguards and what that means for the creation of AI images of our children. What are your next steps?

How do you stay positive when it seems like accountability will never be something Donald Trump and his minions face? Why do I read every day about another atrocity or crime committed and yet I never read that anyone will be doing anything about it? I’m not giving up but it is depressing AF.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over how many times I’ve heard someone say they didn’t like Kamala because she must have “got here with her legs up” but they are more than happy to vote for men who got here while forcing little girl’s legs open.

And for the record, we should all want our food and medicine to be safe and free from unnecessary additives. We should also want our schools and playgrounds to be free from measles and polio.

So many women I know are so excited for RFK Jr. to make food and medicine “safe” for kids. What I don’t understand is how voting for no mandates, bans or regulation by the government stance somehow magically turns into banning, mandates and regulations when it comes to farming and the FDA.

Two of my children’s names are taken from books that have had multiple attempts to ban them. I am sure some thought that obnoxious or silly. Now having a physical library of books seems like an act of resistance to what’s to come. They will know their names come from knowledge people FEAR.
