I'm going to pay more attention to album releases this year in the hope of discovering more gems I'd never have listened to when being fed music solely by the algorithms.

This is so lovely! Like you, I don't remember the moment I learned the twist (although I think it would have been via the movie as I don't recall having any books or anyone telling me about it). Monumental effort keeping it a surprise!
