I have multifocals! They’re fantastic. I thought it would take me ages to get used to them but it was less than a day. They’re lineless.

These are her sleepy airplane ears! She gets the mad ones sometimes but right before this, she let me pat her head for multiple MINUTES and she was SOOOO happy 🥰

Today was a bit more peaceful than previous days and I’m thankful for that!

Ohhh it does!! And yes I thought they were just adorable. They kept stealing looks at each other like “Who’s gonna smack first?” but then they’d get distracted by the dogs again 😂😂

More!! There were two dogs outside (serendipitously, matching the cats in color!) and Marjorie and Gwendolen were transfixed!

My dad will help and so will 9yo, but it just really sucks.

My sweet 78yo mom is doing the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, & stir-fried veggies (weird “lived in Taiwan for years” family tradition) tomorrow as well as making the pies tonight. She’s happy to do it & a great cook but I feel awful about not contributing. I’ll likely be on the couch all day. 😞
