I read somewhere that the last shutdown ended when ATC stopped operating and business leaders were outraged by inability to keep up business travel and functions. Also the ground crews were outraged. Business will always win over political shenanigans because people got no time for mess.

It’s very unsettling. She knows that somehow there will be no accountability for her behavior. Whether it’s untrustworthy midterms and/or no further elections ever, it’s very concerning. The amount of disrespect and derision she displayed was unbelievable and grotesque.
