I took today off work to get the major stuff done before all of the people descend upon our home this weekend, and I couldn’t figure out why I was FREEZING.

So one pill wasn’t helping, so the vet told us to give him 2.
He is now so high that he is eating his foot.
Maybe 1.5 would have been a better next step. 🥹

We went to paint pottery for our friend’s birthday, and y’all, it was the nicest afternoon.
I love being crafty, but doing stuff at home is difficult because there is always something “productive” I should be doing instead, so having three hours to just be creative was such a treat.

I’m not sure that method works as well on a behemoth, but it’s fun and better than a blank giant TV screen!

Got my nails done tonight and the nail tech really hit it out of the park this time! I didn’t do a great job communicating what I wanted last time, so I’m glad we were on the same page today. It’s really fun to have fun nails!

The fact that you can buy a robot litter box with FSA/HSA funds just proves that none of these rules mean anything at all. (I am not saying that a robot litter box does not positively impact one’s health, but also, just let people spend their money on what they deem necessary?!)

Today: I slept in. Went out to breakfast, my second favorite meal to go out for. Thrifted a Brahmin purse for $6. Styled our living room bookshelves. Found my favorite necklace that I thought I’d lost like a year ago. Found a shrimp ornament, the perfect ornament to commemorate our beach trip.
