I just filled out my entire tax return on TaxSlayer's free file option (clicking through from the New York State website) only to be told, after all of the deductions and so forth, that I make TOO LITTLE MONEY to qualify for free file. They can go jump off a damn cliff.

Someone in the music community here in NYC passed away suddenly at a pretty young age (50s) and a GoFundMe was posted for his family. This is what Facebook's AI posted under it 💀

*squints* Are they... shoveling out the bus stop six feet from where my super already did a really nice job of it?? Almost every other bus stop in this neighborhood hasn't been shoveled at all 😭 I hope they are doing all of them and didn't get confused about a 311 report.

I am damp, disheveled, red in the face; my nose is running and my shoes are wet. But once again I have taken my stupid walk for my stupid mental health even in the face of challenges.

That snow is coming down HORD.

The weather is conspiring against me when I need my daily walk for my stupid mental health more than ever. Haven't missed a day since I had COVID in 2024. Let's do this! No snow yet today, just super cold (and poor circulation/nerve damage in extremities).

It's beyond me how they could keep calling this an "arrest" or however they are trying to pass it off as not needing to inform Congress. 80 dead is like you weren't even trying to avoid killing people.

Pablo Picasso "Bird on a Tree"
A Picasso painting in a frame. It shows a bird standing on a branch. The branch is sort of normal. The background is a little weird with an upper sky that has floating white flowers in it among white clouds, and a lower sky that has sunset colors. The bird itself is sort of striped black and dark gray (but not in a real animal way, sort of like if you put wallpaper in the shape of a bird). It is not bird shaped but kind of a big X shape representing two wings, a head and a tail. It also has two feet plus a little orange beak and two eyes drawn on in a kind of odd placement.
