It’s really something to watch the Party whose supporters poop on the floor in the Capitol and wipe their feces on the wall tell us which bathrooms to use.

Matt Gaetz was re-elected, so even though he resigned his current seat he could still serve in the next Congress. But if that happens, the House Ethics Committee would be obligated to release the report when he returns to Congress. Expect him to run for Florida Governor instead in 2026.

It will be hard to find someone worse than Matt Gaetz for attorney general. But if anybody can do it, I trust it's the president-elect.

Criminal conduct and sexual deviance aside, most of these nominees are unqualified for the job.

That should be enough.

The greatest problem in computer science is estimating software installation time. I just watched my new MacBook Pro go from 3 hours, to 2 hours and 45 minutes, to 2 hours and 43 minutes, to 56 minutes, to “about a minute” in the course of an hour. And that’s where I've been for several minutes.

Elon Musk just called the COVID-19 pandemic that killed at least 1.4 million Americans a “scamdemic.”

My dad died during the pandemic; we weren't able to visit him in the hospital because of it. Every aspect of that horrible tragedy was real. And exacerbated by Musk’s co-POTUS.

I’m seeing red. 😡

Just absorbing the fact that the first order of business in the new QAnon-inflected MAGA Republican era is to demand that Congress bury its report on sex trafficking and drug allegations against a Republican member of Congress who they're trying to promote to higher office.
