Something very satisfying about using hand carved tools to practice an old craft. Local maker Alan Berry carved the spindle and the spoon.

Recertified in CPR and first aid last night. 30 childcare professional in the room and not one including myself got the chocking procedure for infants correct. I have been certified every 2 years for over 30 years but if you don't practice it doesn't stick.
Hopefully no one needs this info.

I walked into the Preschool room and a 4 year old ran up and told me that another girl had shoved her and the cops were going to arrest her. The 5 other kids jumped in and tried to tell me their version of the story as I assured everyone that no one was getting arrested ??!

I'm 10 minutes behind on Breakfast have 4 pots on the stove for lunch and need to put 2 more on and I feel like I'm juggling 12 impossible things when I push the cart out into a hallway to see 2 kids absolutely rocking out to the Encanto song I have playing.
