YES. Care work is SO HARD and deserves so much better compensation than we currently give care workers. It's one of those systems that is so deeply broken, and fixing it would make so many people's lives meaningfully better in so many ways

I realize it's partially the specific stage of life I'm in, but any time anyone talks about the economy and doesn't talk about how much childcare costs have skyrocketed SINCE I HAD KIDS 5 years ago, I know I cannot trust anything else they say.

I saw that it was about Malort and figured it was too early in the morning to subject myself to the memory that Malort exists - but I am saving it for later (unlike Malort, which I think I have set aside for the rest of my lifetime)
