Just a reminder that renewables like wind and solar are not dominating new energy investment due to subsidies or regulations. They are dominating because they are cheaper and more reliable.

Trump wants Americans to pay more, and fall behind in technology, in order to feed his ego. Nothing more.

218 members signed the discharge petition to force a vote to extend ACA tax credits.

If Speaker Johnson refuses to bring forth the vote, he’s telling the American people loud and clear that rising health care costs are acceptable to him.

Obviously we've all been slacking in the effigy department. Time to order a few tons of straight pins, cotton batting & fabric.

Craft season is upon us. Thank you, Haiti.

Might be a coal shortage ahead.
Santa's filled a lot of stockings with sooty carbon chunks.

More fruits, nuts & toys for everyone else.

🫣 so they'd basically own you, like Putin does 🍊
It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

We're the baddies now. Our new Security Strategy shows it.
It's a gift to the Kremlin and a middle finger to our erstwhile allies.

Nixon didn’t go to prison over Watergate, but 48 others were convicted and served time for the scandal - notably, his Attorney General. Attention: Pam Bondi meet John Mitchell.

Noem 🙄 too busy trying on new cosplay outfits & buying planes to be bothered with Congress.

She's the kid who never gets detention, even when she burns down the school.
Bennie Thompson on Noem: "Her arrival was short lived. She left in the middle of the hearing ostensibly to go to another meeting. We found that the meeting had been canceled, so she could've stayed. But nonetheless, we're not surprised, because this is who she is."

Inflation. Slower job market. Unstable economy. Crazy increase in the national debt. That big ugly bill didn't help the debt or deficit. It just lined the pockets of the very wealthy & very corrupt.

Golf, ICE, detention centers, NG in cities, boat strikes, oil tanker piracy - it's expensive.
The winning is killing us. #TrumpSucks

In addition to 5 years of social media history, CBP would also require tourists to provide all phone numbers used over that period, any email addresses used in the past decade, DNA and iris scans, and the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members
Including children

more insidious raking in the 💰💰💰 by a corporate giant, more tax dollars gouged out of the public coffers

anti-trust actions - how do we bust up the giants?
A new investigation revealed that school districts and local governments are reportedly overpaying for supplies because of Amazon contracts that bind them to dynamic pricing.

Rather than allow for competitive bidding, the deals “covertly raise prices and inflate costs for governments.”
