Legit the first thing I did when I got the bike and the desert was run around on the edge to collect all the crystal I could find and some point of interest.

It's crazy how empty it is overall, and while I understand its supposed to be a form of hyrule plain like on the 64, it feel unneeded

yeah this is one of my criticism. I understand the intention of making it seems "oppressive" but I feel that music would have added so much.

If 64 zelda could do it with the plain of Hyrule this game could definitely do it too

What I think mostly happened is another case of Mass hysteria. People would hear minimal information, immediately pick a side and jumped on the bandwagon to attack the other, without taking the proper time to learn the complete thing.

I even saw someone that I respected calling her a Kirsche 2.0 (an actual problematic person) just from those clips, combined with how she was 'attacking smaller streamer"-
