Thought Punks posted a story update on KILL THE CANDY KING - A game of OOMPA revolution
After many failed development attempts, trying to force a hack that just wasn't working, I finally rebuilt Kill the Candy King from the ground up. Which also had a couple failed attempts. But I finally hit on what I think is a working playtest version! So please check out the live beta PDF: https://thoughtpunks.com/KillTheCandyKingBETA.pdf It is essentially a narrative style crawler. You navigate through rooms, face the mini-bosses of Heirs and Contraptions, then finally have a social showdown for the finale. There's small sets of examples for room building elements. There's a bunch of ready to use example NPCs, Heirs, Contraptions, and Royal Heirs. Please let me know what you think! That'd also be great! While I do recommend TE due to my own love for the game, Tetris itself is pretty good b/c it emphasizes movement, and (moreso important for 2D fighters) b/c pressing 'up' is an instant drop, it teaches you to only press up/jump when you absolutely need it

You don't have to always attack your enemies head on in Desu Vult. Sometimes more underhanded tactics like stealing their gold could be worth it! Besides stealing from enemies, the Thief can also steal from shops on the map.
