Pret, one of the main POVs in Rowan Silver's Dragons and Skylines book series, stands disheveled and wet after taking a plunge into the Pacific Ocean. He is on the receiving end of a verbal excoriation as Lilith and Grith, two of the other main POVs, berate him mercilessly.

Princess Asha from The Princess's Feathers smells a fabulous, pink-blossomed Vareican Rosebush growing on a trellis at the Royal Gardens. This particular plant was grown by none other than that gardener Asha's always citing as a major influence in her life or somesuch. I met her once or twice while she was still around, and I have to say, she was a pretty cool Rabbit! Taught me a thing or two about gardening and always had a lot of thoughtful wisdom to share (whether or not the wisdom was warranted for someone such as myself, well! I'll leave that up to you to decide!)

Grith, a golden Fikolese Dragon from Rowan Silver's Dragons and Skylines converses with Asha from the Princess's Feathers. Asha suggests that the reader (that's you!) should read their books. Grith reminds Asha that The Princess's Feathers paperback hasn't been published yet, to which Asha replies, "So?"
