Working on @patchesapp.com 💚
Back to Raycast after giving Spotlight another chance with Tahoe.
Spotlight's gotten way better, but the clipboard manager sometimes just stops working. That's a dealbreaker for me, since I rely on that a lot. Also I really missed the fuzzy search and speed that Raycast comes with.

I wouldn't trust Expo for this claim alone.
How would they know? 🙃

Oh damn, totally missed @patchesapp.com turned 1 yesterday. Happy birthday! 🥳

App Store review times have been pretty high for me lately, latest update is already waiting for 2+ days. Meanwhile I've released two updates for the Android app. 😅

Anyone else?

Hah, an app update got rejected due to incorrect login details. Turned out the testing account was gone.

I think a previous tester deleted the testing account via the app. 😅

Today my procrastination is at it's peak. I've found a cute OSS website blocking extension, but it had a bug.

Now the bug is gone.

I'm a little confused: When building my app locally with Xcode 26 it has Liquid Glass. Distributing the app via Xcode Cloud, using Xcode 26, it doesn't have it.

Someone else seeing this with Xcode Cloud? Did I miss something?

I have set up zoom transitions for items in a ScrollView, which leads to a view glitch when you dismiss the detail screen and quickly scroll while the dismiss transition is not yet finished.

Probably happens due to changing frames, but no idea how to fix it. :(
Anyone else?

Hey everyone 👋 I'm excited to finally share what I've been working on since WWDC!

It’s an idea I've had for years but could only now realize with #AlarmKit in #iOS26 🤓

It's almost ready for #beta testing!

Still struggling with users not rating the app, so I came up with this feedback prompt. I feel like this might help, since it doesn't interrupt the users flow. 🤞🏻

Also it creates an additional opportunity for the people to give feedback (when they tap "no").

Me, 11am: Ok, let's quickly deploy this Swift backend. Can't take too long.
Also me, 9pm: Phew, at least the DB container now uses the correct datasource. 😂

DevOps is an even bigger time sink than anything else. 😅

Fun ride though. Learned a lot with Terraform, VPSs, Docker, Vapor and more. :)

Recently I've been looking for alternatives to the big players in the vector tool space for print media.

I've found BeLight, who make Amadine, a beautiful vector drawing app, a publisher tool and more. Clean interface, solid print support, small lifetime fee.

Happy I've found them!
