it can lead to the bleed over of experiencing a similar mindset for personal work where if something doesnt immediately hit it's like well in the bin it goes. I guess it was worthless. Moving on. Which is SO BAD. That's not what personal art is for. Personal art is to love the craft.

When you work in a creative field the mindset of separating work and play is so hard. You get into the rhythm of creating, testing and discarding if unsuccessful which is important in a professional setting because you can't be precious about what you create, there's no time for being precious. I think I'm actually going to go out and get an mp3 player. It feels like an unhinged thing to do but since I got rid of my Spotify premium and have been forced to kind of use YouTube to compensate I'm fed up to the teeth with having ads every fucking second of every day. Music is a part of my ADHD
