seeing “somewhere in time” on a list of rom-coms is why I have trust issues
one time when I was in college I came home to find my mom in the middle of this movie so I just sat down waiting for her to finish it and by the end I was SOBBING saying, why would you watch this???

When I was in HS I made online friends with this girl named Mandee who was a little younger than me, and for a year+ we talked on AIM almost every day about whatever happened on General Hospital, what music we were listening to, whatever… and then at some point we just totally lost touch.

Still not sure how to find a balance for news intake these days. I don’t want to bury my head in the sand but taking in this much upsetting world news every day is not sustainable either. We are not meant to hold this much tragedy all at once and all the time.

Dude makes a U-turn into my lane right in front of me so I have to brake quickly. I honk my horn. He gives me the “slow down” arm gesture out the window. The speed limit is 45. I had to slow to under 30 in order to not hit him. We approach a red light. He’s like - see we all have to stop…

I know I could watch any episode of Degrassi I want any time now and that’s great. Most of the other shows too, and frankly I don’t miss the n tv channel that much anymore… but the-n dot com?? I will never be over its demise. I would pay real money to play avatar prom right now.

Had a stress dream last night that I had a final exam/paper due imminently for a class I forgot I was taking. Which would make so much sense as a student, but I graduated 15 and a half years ago. 🙃

Successful RSD experience today! I was most excited and nervous about being able to get The Wreckers and I was soooo relieved they still had one for me! 🙌🏻

I’ve recently started re-watching Modern Family and it’s wild because it doesn’t feel like it was THAT long ago but then I’m watching an episode where Phil wants this cool new product, the iPad. And I’m like oh - this was a different world.

So my brother bought a video game on eBay. 36 hours later he gets a tracking notification that it’s been delivered. It hasn’t. That seemed absurdly fast anyway so he figured that was some glitch and waits several days and it never arrives. So he goes through the steps it lays out to open a case.
