Anyone told Johnson that Greenwood dropped a version of “God Bless the USA” entitled “God Bless You, Canada” who were supposed to be mortal enemies with?

So does this mean Johnson is signaling he’s actually a Canadian supporter? Is it because of maple syrup? The moose? TIM HORTON’S?!

Lol- he said that after saying he didn’t know who Bad Bunny is. Of course our evil Keibler, 3rd in line to the presidency makes a morality judgement call about someone he’s never heard of. Please people vote in the midterms PLEASE!

I heard that 53 year old Speaker of the House Mike Johnson thought #BadBunny was a bad choice for the Super Bowl halftime show.

Sure.

Because Mike Johnson looks like he has his finger on the pulse of pop culture.

Any fans of The Apples (in stereo) out here?

I just got their second album, “Tone Soul Evolution” on vinyl today. I was expecting a rerelease, but it’s from 1997. And comes with a 45 of two bonus tracks. Thrilled to get this.

Any fans?

I sort of use an office at the closest store in our region. But it’s not the same. Thanks for your support!

I’m not worried about Christmas, as I am about Black Friday!

My new store is being built, and should be open in November. I don’t even have an official office. I have my cell phone and a box in my car. It’s real Wild West stuff. When there’s a problem, it’s a headache to sort out. So, I’m trying to fall into a Final Frontier coma!

I’ve been watching #StarTrek lately because it’s my comfort food. Work has me stressed to the max. I’m a retail store manager and I got promoted to the manager of my company’s biggest store. I’m now in the process of finding and hiring about 60 people. I have almost half in one form or another.

I always thought of them as Vulcan Smurfs!

The cool thing about #StarTrek 4 is, without the last two movies, this doesn’t exist. And Trek 4 is unique for the fact that our crew doesn’t have an Enterprise. If Spock hadn’t died and come back, we would have gotten a standard adventure, more of the same that we had already seen.

#StarTrek 3 is the movie most like the original series. There’s a “Previously on Star Trek” at the beginnings, followed by the opening credits and monologue. Even the scene of Kirk and the Captain’s Log feels like a teaser. With the brevity of 90 minutes, I have to wonder if it was almost a TV movie

While watching the final, beautiful scene between Kirk and Spock, I couldn’t help but wonder if the crew of the Enterprise were fans of Zelda. There’s a triforce in the engine room!

Like that time Scotty spent 75 years in a transporter buffer and then thought Kirk rescued him. Despite being present when Kirk was killed on the Enterprise-B.
satmornpod.bsky.social
One of the coolest moments in ANY movie is Kirk saying he doesn’t like losing, and pulling out his communicator to advance the story. It’s a moment that changes everything, and breathes new life into the story. It’s the second wind!

If The Wrath of Khan wasn’t successful, Paramount’s TV department would have created a Trek TV show centered around David and Saavik. I often wonder what they might have been like. Does anyone have thoughts on what you would have liked to have seen?

I would have liked #StarTrek x Moonlighting!

It’s been years since I’ve read that!

I was thinking Scotty was a one man Make a Wish Foundation. And Peter had always wanted to see the bridge.
satmornpod.bsky.social
When the turbo lift door opens and Scotty’s there with his dying nephew, my thought is always, “Why didn’t Scotty go to Sickbay?”

Do anyone have an answer for this?
satmornpod.bsky.social
I know know which Ricardo Montalban character was more evil. Khan? Or car salesman?
satmornpod.bsky.social
I’m by can see that 🤣 My picture is hazy
