I also listen to Loscil a lot while working. He was on my most listened many times for that reason.
Glad you gave it a shot. My favourite is Endless Falls which I always found best through earphones in the dark, if you feel like giving him another try. It also reminds me of Vancouver.

Oh yeah I love Autechre and Confield is very challenging, and I don't think I've listened to it for decades at this point.

My other recommendations from the List in this vein would be Labradford, Fixed::Context, and Loscil, Triple Point. Although that's a very early Loscil album and I think his mid/late 2000's work is his best.
