An educated society is a vital for the survival of democracy.

Also all the other platforms seem to be full of bots. I came here for a fresh start and non-toxic space.
It’s become a platform where people openly spew hate and toxic rhetoric. It reminds me of early online gaming communities before stricter rules on harmful language. At this point, it feels more like a digital hooligan space than a social network.

This week I clicked a link to an AI video on X—the first time I’d opened the app in over a year. I was immediately met with racism, nudity, and violence. These screenshots were the safest posts I saw. Why does any public body still need an X account?

Disgusting app. I don’t even know why we are continuing to allow this nonsense. Opening supportive of homophobia, racism, gender and sexual discrimination. Why on earth are they using that platform to communicate to its citizens?

What the BBC did was wrong and they’ve rightly apologised, but mistakes like this happen more often than people realise. Misreporting and misinformation aren’t new. It shouldn’t have happened, but tearing down an entire institution over it feels like a storm in a teacup.

Since Brexit, the UK economy is now 4–6% smaller than it should be. That’s over £100bn a year in lost growth, weaker trade, lower investment and higher prices. Households are paying the cost while politicians pretend this decline isn’t happening.

These closures aren’t just numbers—they mean job losses, fewer community spaces, and less access for elderly or rural residents. When banks and shops disappear, towns lose their heartbeat. We all know why this is happening. Is anyone prepared to talk about the damage Brexit continues to cause?

She’s too focused on grabbing headlines and being the talk of the day. It’s starting to get a bit stale and attention seeking. Tory’s not sure how to be in opposition, shadow cabinet not really providing value and winning votes back.

To be fair we could meet the criteria for an American invasion. We’ve got some oil, gas and a slightly unstable political system. Least we forget there is a sizeable Islamic population here too. It may pass through congress if talked up. MERICA🫡

He’s lost his head completely. How did the man who wanted to save the planet with electric cars end up with “drill baby drill” man? How do you go from pro expat visas to “free tommy” within the same week. He’s in crisis can nobody tell the man to get to a doctor. He’s rattling.

It’s clear Elon is spiralling out of control mentally and there isn’t anyone around him who can get him the help he needs. He’s spending large amounts of money and time fixated on political conspiracies issues. He can’t stay away from his phone. It’s the ketamine prescriptions.

Yeah but let’s have a referendum on never having a referendum on anything else after that.
