Beacon Village is a historic neighborhood of mill houses in Swannanoa, NC that was hit hard by Hurricane Helene. 28 houses became uninhabitable overnight, and many more were affected by massive amounts of water and mud. Help us rebuild our community.
Help us rebuild after the hurricane. Taking applications until the end of June. Applicants MUST have lost their work/job/business as a result of Hurricane Helene.

Hurricane Helene devastated infrastructure across western NC. In Swannanoa, residents wanted to cook for their neighbors in need but lacked access to safe water. WCK provided a 2,000-gallon tank and pump, allowing Blunt Pretzel to serve as a meal hub for affected families. #ChefsForNorthCarolina
