Savannah DeMelo was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and Graves’ disease last fall. She was gracious enough to speak to me about it, how it affected her, and how it was related to her on-field medical event earlier this season when she went to the hospital. She says she's in a better place now. #NWSL

As much as that game was electric with such a heartbreaking ending, man we didn’t play that well. Gift Monday and Kouassi had some great moments in the first but our play just lacked cohesion #spirit #spiritvangelcity #nwsl

Just got home from the #spirit game. A loss 0-2 at home to Kansas City. Backline did a great job containing Chawinga (who was basically silent until the 99th minute) but we got killed in the midfield without a true 6. We were missing Hal for sure. Hopefully she’ll be back for next weeks game
