Maybe they can do an "audit" like AZ did. Or is it possible they learned that embarrassing themselves by hiring essentially a FL cable repairman to do an election audit wasn't such a great idea.

FIFA is a disgusting and corrupt organization. And that was true long before this. The games are amazing to watch, but I just don't think I can this time.

Even a place like Tuscaloosa, where there’s huge college football stadium, has a Democrat mayor. I think Miami has a Republican mayor at the moment but probably won’t by the summer.

They elected a democrat in 2023 after something like 30 years of republicans. Despite all the GOP gibberish, the murder rate dropped in half since then.

Texas and Florida certainly have money. But their cities are blue (Houston and Dallas are already host cities).
The idea is preposterous just on logistics. I guess they could hold the games in college football stadiums, but those towns don’t have supporting businesses for that many visitors.

You know if I was a geopolitical adversary of the US, I’d probably want the population to be disease ridden and poor.
