not to spill my guts out on your timeline, but here's a bigass emotional rant: ive been very demotivated djing recently. i did in fact have to reinstall windows on my dj pc and my backups didn't complete properly, so i *permanently* lost a few hundred songs, all my crates, many recorded sets. 1/12

trying to use the windows installation media to repair this shit. currently my 5th attempt. trawling thru arcane error logs tens of thousands of lines long. signs pointing to my pc being so fucked it's impossible to even do a full in-place reinstall. only other option? wipe the drive and start fresh

apparently attempting to export music to a cdj usb thru rekordbox while i was in SF erased all the beatgrids and hotcues on over 1/3 of my entire fucking virtualdj library
