Tenebris has a "forever night" sky, filled with stars and celestial bodies. Our resident astronomer, Celeste, loses herself in them so often that she comes across as eccentric. But we love her for it 🥰✨️

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

One of the creatures in Tenebris, Karakul, are feline-like beings that share a symbiotic relationship with the plants around them! Their chests and abdomen are hollow, where plants grow and share nutrients between the two.

One Ombra that i will be designing for a friend soon has dedicated their entire life to trying to figure out why the consumption of living shadow corrupts life in Tenebris, treating it as a disease. Which has left them twisted themselves to a degree

A vast, empty nothingness until an entity of Light formed the heavens one day, but alongside The Light formed an entity of Shadows. Both of these entities were simple and pure, just coexisting alongside one another. You may already know the story though of how the heavens created the mortal realm, but what about the shadows? They sat back within their corner of the void and watched the creations of the heavens and, as one does, the other reacts. Being two parts of the same whole, it was inevitable. The shadows began to shift and churn, expanding their form to match that of the heavens although she did not wish to rule over its creations, merely observe. From her being, water and dirt began to form, growing outward rapidly, then trees and a multitude of flora creating dense forests, thick marshes leading out to an ocean as far as the eye could see. Soon the new realm settled. Quiet and still, but void of fauna. The shadows merely wished for pure creatures of shadow. She had observed heaven's creation of good and evil and the sorrow that had befallen those creatures. So, from the earth and sea, she formed the bases of her own creations. Beasts of all shapes and sizes filled its woods, seas, and sky with only one thing in mind: to live and survive. Millenia passed and the realm of shadows became a world where only the strong or cunning could survive. Many tribes live in and around the waters of Tenebris. The main Oceanic tribe make their homes in underwater caverns, using them as their base for building onto. In the Swamps, #Ombra build using fallen trees and mudstone to build huts and grand lodges over the waters. Whereas Lyali is (1)

I would say all flowing waters in Tenebris are super important as they connect all realms together. If you imagine all of the circles of hell as physical realms, Tenebris fills the spaces between. Connecting with the river styx that ferries souls to their destination
