I fully understand how difficult it is to remain focused on any one particular atrocity but this really ought to be a serious scandal and people need to pay heavy prices for this

If they can do it on whatever nebulous undefined national security power they've alluded to but not explained, there is no limiting principle that stops it from being done on land near the border, and if it can be done there, there is no limiting principle that stops doing it in Chicago or Denver.
The more this settles in, the more its danger and gravity becomes clear.
1. This was a crime, whether under domestic law enforcement, international law or war law.
2. By its very logic, there is nothing preventing them from doing the same within the US.
