After everything during Andor & Rogue One, those first paragraphs of the opening crawl for Episode IV are so sad.

That medal ceremony is going to feel so incomplete at the end. I’ll just imagine that Vel, Wil & Kleya are off somewhere raising a glass to their own heroes of the Rebellion.

Andor was amazing. I was constantly surprised throughout the series by the small ways they evoked so much emotion from me. Beyond the big moments, they filled the quiet parts with all the weight of their fates to come and all the moments from their past that got them there. A+ storytelling.

Got my vote in with 10 minutes to spare!

I watched the new season of Light & Magic on Disney+ and it was a bit depressing in the end. The first season had its sadder moments as well, but this season felt kind of melancholy. Obviously ILM is still going strong, but the moment they try to hype doing Rango after passing on Avatar was rough.

I miss when the #Oscars used to show clips of the nominated performances. I’m happy Kieran Culkin won. Loved his performance.

This is the kind of silly nonsense I enjoy. Conan’s “I won’t waste time dance” with the Dune worm on piano… LOL that’s what I want from a Conan bit at the #oscars

What a lovely opening to the #Oscars. A love letter to LA & Hollywood with a beautiful performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Honor his memory by doing something strange, unraveling a riddle within yourself, and working on your favorite projects.

once again thinking about this passage from David Lynch's book Catching the Big Fish

I don't think it was pain that made him so great, I think painting brought him whatever happiness he had.

David Lynch was a wonderfully creative artist who helped shape my appreciation of weird and imaginative film and tv. Twin Peaks was foundational for me.

Instead of an iconic quote from one of this projects, can I just say that no other filmmaker used silence as well as he did.
