So the new person at work enjoys or bathes in Febreeze(™️).
First time meeting, I noticed but wasn’t strongly affected. Made the mistake to go into his empty office and confirm the lingering stink.
Had to double up my inhaler and let boss know I’d be working from home until further notice.

We met this nice older woman who was very friendly and spoke to us directly. (Crows are bad luck, she said, although I don’t agree with her) But she also brought out a brochure from her purse entitled “Welcoming Foreigners”

I understand saving water and all that, but why do I have to pray now to the water gods every time I want to turn on a faucet?
I’m waving my hands, obscure incantations, which invariably respond at the wrong moment or splash everywhere or simply do not work at all?
