Following a weekend of workshops, we kicked off with a most wonderful welcome to country and smoking ceremony performed by Songwoman Baringa and Aunty Kathryn Fisher.

We were privileged to have 116 Indigenous participants sharing their knowledge, perspectives and leadership during the congress.

We’re still buzzing from #ICCB2025!

We welcomed 1,919 attendees from 94 countries to Meeanjin Brisbane - with 55% joining us from overseas.
Conference participants spoke more than 60 languages, and many made use of the AMAZING Wordly, which provided live translation in all our presentation rooms.
