An opportunity has presented itself to me, so I'm shelving my rpg project for the time being. It's definitely something I want to finish some day, but for the time being, I'm feeling the weight of the project and will unearth it later.
Here's the update I was talking about. Crazy what some better shading can do.

Went back to update an old tileset and I can actually feel how much I've improved since then. Very satisfying to know practice has paid off.

I think a thing to keep in mind with all the AI stuff being demonized is when a developer was using it. I remember not too long ago when it was just a novelty people didn't really understand, yet. We know better now, but it doesn't really feel reasonable to antagonize those who didn't.

I checked the height values for the new Nightfarers. I was a little surprised to see Undertaker is actually slightly smaller than average, but Scholar definitely felt shorter to me as soon as I saw him.

Went on sale, so I resumed my run. The biggest thing that jumps out to me about it is how bizarrely flaccid and sexless the world is. If gooner-ass, gacha games devoid of dignity are on one extreme, this is on the polar opposite extreme. Crazy that this is supposed to be the successor to New Vegas.
Was gonna play Outer Worlds again to see how I felt about it after all this time, but the PS5 upgrade requires you to get both DLC's and pay for it on top of it, so now I just don't care.
