I at one time used a Graphical Chat world called ‘The Palace’ my avatar was called Shadow, another user had that name so I changed it to character of Terry Brooks (The Shannara series) there were these creatures in the book called Shadowen and the name kind of stuck.

Best I can give is back in the day, I often used "Lord of Ra" in games that asked for a name. Then, 20 years ago, I had the username "Lord Arse" on online forums. Why I chose that? I have no idea!

My real name is Dean Belfield, but I have this social media account for retro computing stuff. The alias "L Break Into Program" is an error message on the Sinclair Spectrum. It just seemed apt, and it stuck.
