If you've never been to the brewery before, you may not know it's a bit of a museum. August Schell purchased this kettle in 1889 for $25000. Five years earlier he spent $5000 on his retirement home. Priorities, right?

Earlier this year, Dr. Jane Goodall sat down for an interview for Brad Falchuk’s new Netflix series, Famous Last Words.

The premise of the series is to interview people on the condition that the interview not air until the subject has passed away.

Trump told NBC on Sunday that he saw some Portland riot footage on Fox and thought it reflected current events.

It didn't. It was 5 years old, from the George Floyd aftermath.

And we learned that due to the diligence of a local TV reporter, who got the transcript.

Trump referenced a weekend conversation with Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek, and he alluded to being told by Kotek that the reality in Portland is different from what’s being portrayed to him.

“I spoke to the governor, she was very nice,” Trump said. “But I said, ‘Well wait a minute, am I watching things on television that are different from what’s happening? My people tell me different.’ They are literally attacking and there are fires all over the place…it looks like terrible.”

To be fair, the founders probably never anticipated a President trying to become a King and 40% of the population saying "this seems awesome" while other parts of the government were constantly giving away their Constitutional power.

You may have heard my arguments against the Electoral College before. Here’s a new one the Founders never anticipated:

If the President is elected by popular vote, he probably wouldn’t selectively punish entire states for voting against him.

Oregon is set to lose an additional $400 million in federal grants awarded for climate action and is among more than a dozen Democratic states losing federal funding after the Trump administration terminated nearly $8 billion for those states this week.

Also, tell me again that the Minnesota brewing industry is healthy. Because this story sure doesn't make it seem like that's the case.

McElfresh, whose company is based in Chicago, drove to Minneapolis for the meeting and left somewhat reassured.

“This could be an existential risk to many Minnesota businesses, including craft breweries and retailers that rely on these products,” said Glenn McElfresh, co-founder of the Plift hemp-infused beverage brand. “We’ve really got to find a solution in the coming weeks.”

I hate it when TV chefs, whilst cooking with alcohol, take a little swig and beam in naughty delight at their own mischief. You're 54 years old. You can buy it legally in a shop. You want to impress me, drink the raw chicken juices you fucking coward.

US farmers are saying they "just need temporary help, until things get better."

Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CANNOT get better.

Other countries expanded their soy industries to fill China's demand.

We've walled ourselves out of the global market, folks. This is it.
