I can't imagine there isn't a lawsuit in the works for this overreach from HHS. They are treating congressional payments like an expense report for a steak on a business trip. In order to do this kind of stuff you'd need to massively expand government to be able to keep up with paperwork.

The essay was awful and deserved a zero and the fact that the school's admin is firing professors and giving As for bad work is reason for the University of Oklahoma to lose accreditation. Just further proof that the talk of "merit" was always about restoring white success through mediocrity.

Manching spent his entire career stonewalling progress while trying to presertve his own dying industry. Sinema was a craven lunatic who became enveloped in enriching herself via special interests.

They stood for nothing and made every democrat policy ineffectual. I say good riddence to them.

It was never about legal immigration rather it was they didn't like certain types immigrating.

Them going mask off is not surprising given how racist americans have turned out to be.

Works here in central US. Harder to find problems on the network side since it's behind cloudflare so the only way to gain additional insight is between the server and cloudflare itself.

From a loading standpoint I attached the slower stuff for me.

@mcuban.bsky.social comes out in favor of a visa that will be excludsive to Magnificent Seven

This doesn't actually fix any problems with the H1B program but does create more disparities between high capital companies and small to medium businesses while also putting a for sale sign on the country

The way you are being treated is this meme. Just awful behavior on their parts.

How is this guy rich?

1) This would obliterate any small business trying to sell products as they cannot build their own delivery systems. Shipping via private industry (FedEX and UPS) is absurdly expensive.
2) I already pay taxes. This is a service the government should provide

This is the kind of thing you say about a 30 or 40 year old who was being a cringe teenager. This is a cringe teenager who has no history of being a different person. Also his life isn't ruined; he can go back to working at one of Elon's companies. Racists have no business in government.

Every time I open Twitter, I am reminded of the lack of design principles employed by many of the remaining tech professionals at the company. It's has "Homer's car" vibes.

This leopards eating faces moment is because the ENTIRE right not just the far right redefined DEI as unqualified people with jobs. DEI policies (that never had anything to do with hiring unqualified people) have helped white women enter the workforce at a greater rate than any other minority.

Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) gets the ultimate "Leopards ate my face" award. The tariff proposal was a hallmark policy during the 2024 Trump campaign and now all her constituents are going to suffer because of her.

Trump suggesting we now have an official US government propaganda outlet is the most concerning part of this. The rest is just Americans having the memory of a goldfish in regards to the fact that the entire ban was trumps idea.

One of the more annoying things about DOGE and Technocratic types is their utter contempt for the Arts and Humanities. So while they are taking the life out of humanity we have to remember good people out there trying to keep it alive through art.

Christopher Lloyd's family is currently just doing a bunch of engagement farming on X/Twitter while promoting blockchain nonsense. Just a real tarnishing of his legacy. #bttf

It's pretty concerning that Tesla's and the supercharging infrastructure is basically just a giant surveillance operation at the beck and call of the police at a moments notice.

One of the most annoying trends in the "food is expensive" debate is when people go out there and buy designer eggs and apples and complain about pricing. Yes your custom spliced out of season premium apples will be expensive and your free range all organic eggs will be outrageous. 1/2

The right is having the same conversation they would have had regardless; that Biden stole justice from the victims families. The NY Post is running articles talking about the clemencies like Jorge Avila-Torrez who sexually assaulted and stabbed to death Laura Hobbs, 8, and Krystal Tobias, 9. 1/2

I really feel like they should get some ipads with some collaboration software. There is very little reason to print out a bill to read and make notes in 2024 but much like that fake sling she had on earlier this week it's for nothing more than show.

Nate Silver is pointing out what always happens; Democrats must follow historical norms, decency and respectability while republicans are allowed to just do "whatever" with zero repercussions from the electorate.

Democrats need to stop acting beholden to norms that republicans won't follow.

Tweets and Skeets are not meant to be detailed explanations of complex issues. Instead they are thoughts boiled down to their core information. You can link to your blog and if people are interested they can read long form there.
