Our Governor is playing national politics with the Texas National Guard. We need a Texas legislature that is more concerned with running the state of Texas than with running for President.

I would compare myself more to Truman than FDR. I’m a centrist compared to the existing political spectrum. I believe in free markets, a strong social safety net (including social security), strong investments in infrastructure, and am pro-small business and antitrust enforcement

The lack of documentation is part of the problem. We’be created a slave-like underbelly of people which both keeps them in poverty and pushes down wages for everyone else. The fix to this is to create a pathway to legal status for those that are here and have not been convicted of a violent crime.

There is a lot that can be done, but the GOP led legislature is unwilling to consider anything that acknowledges increasing risk or past mistakes. I am running for HD-44. Happy to talk more about specific policy proposals.

Hegseth is blinded by his misogyny and racism that he is maybe the most incompetent member of the cabinet (and that is saying a lot!). We are going to have to spend years rebuilding our military from the damage he is doing.
