2026 will bring hardship, but it will also bring opportunity. We can continue to organize, build power, and make a real difference in people's lives. We can get our state government working to lower costs and push back against the authoritarianism coming out of Washington.

We are living in a frightening and uncertain time in our history. But in moments of crisis, community can be our source of hope. We can’t lose sight of each other and our collective strength.

Our state government should be empowering municipalities to build more affordable housing of all types, care for our unhoused neighbors, protect renters, and so much more.

I’m ready to bring that fight to the State Capitol.

Delaying or forgoing care today means worse outcomes (and higher costs) down the road. Universal healthcare now!

If they're done pretending they're not racist, xenophobic, and bigoted, there's absolutely zero reason for those who report on these people to continue pretending otherwise. Certainly not because it's "civil."

It's cowardly, dishonest, and insulting to keep propping up this transparent ruse.

I've written my analysis of today's grim Supreme Court oral argument in the conversion therapy case:

As far as the Court's concerned, imaginary medical uncertainty gives states the authority to hurt queer kids, and takes away states' authority to protect them

The Conservative Justices Don't Trust Any Science That Supports LGBTQ Kids
States that want to facilitate discrimination against LGBTQ people have the Court's blessing. States that want to protect LGBTQ people from discrimination do not.
