The most memorable line, for me, was at the end of the first True Detectives season when Matthew McConaughey looks up from his wheel chair, takes Woody Harrelson’s hand, and tearfully says “I guess we became true detectives”

I liked it the first time I watched it.
But boy! the second time around it did not seem so good anymore.
Somehow the prequels managed to say *something while the sequel trilogy seems completely empty headed upon rewatch
