For the few folks following the adventures of my milkweed beetles, they are still alive, but in deep trouble.
Most of the milkweed plants have little left to give, and the hard cold is coming.
Yet here they are, huddled together on a post using the diminishing sunlight to stay warm.
Life is life.

10+ pounds of beach plums, 10+ pounds of cherries, 12 pounds of cherries, some yeast, and now magic.
