Aww no! I had what felt like the flu but did not test positive for it and it took me (and Charles) a week and a half of steadily feeling worse before finally feeling better. It suuuuucked.

True, I've just noticed that they're not a lot of in the middle with most autistic people I know. They either stay away from any sort of drugs or alcohol or they end up dealing with addiction. Obviously people in the middle do exist, just less so.

I feel like there's 2 extremes with autistics. I was the "drugs/alcohol are bad and I have no interest" side and my partner was the "drugs/alcohol make me numb and social so I'll use them" person. My partner is now almost 3 years sober but lost 20 years to addiction. I've barely even drank.

Ugh I know that fear well. I wrecked my last 2 cars thanks to hitting deer, I barely trust myself to drive my own car at this point lol. I trust my partner to drive it but that's it! Vehicles are too freaking expensive to replace.

It does, that shouldn't be something that continuously happens, because then you risk getting pulled over and having issues because of something someone else is doing with your car.

He better be paying those tolls plus any extra fees that having your registration lapse causes. I'm having to deal with my registration potentially being revoked currently cause I moved out of state and switched my insurance to Missouri and Louisiana is freaking out that they can't see my insurance🫠
